Just Be(e) is an eco-fantasy musical for the whole family in the line of animation classics, featuring a toe-tapping orchestral-pop score, sporting a large female cast.
It deals with the urgent themes of human impact on nature, and how one person taking responsibility can change the fate of a whole Queendom.
THE STORY
Young bee Melissa has had it! Life is way too hard in an industrial Hive!
It’s all work and no fun, as the bees are forced to toil their lives away producing honey for their masters, the gigantic “Gods”.
What’s worse, the bees are now looking for a new responsible, obedient queen, and it looks like she might be next in line!
When the queen’s advisor, the witchy Beezir, starts orchestrating secret attempts on her life, Melissa flees. Once on the outside, she learns a different version of her own people’s Herstory… She realizes the Beezir has enslaved her people, lying to them about the nature of the Gods.
Can Melissa learn her own happiness is tied with that of her Queendom, before her friends are lost to her forever?
